Before the United States and Israel’s attacks on Iran’s uranium enrichment facilities, the Iranian Intelligence Agency had been for years building a clandestine uranium enrichment and warhead facility under a mountain of granite rock, impenetrable from bunker-busting bombs or a nuclear blast by Israeli or United States air attacks. How and where Iran might use a nuclear device is the primary concern of intelligence agencies worldwide.
After the Iran/Israel conflict, the United States has allowed Iran to export oil to other nations, which is a significant boon to Iran’s economy. But there is concern by Iranian authorities that the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor ITER research facility in Saint-Paul-lez-Durance, France, will threaten Iran’s oil exporting revenue by producing large quantities of cheap Hydrogen fuel for worldwide use.
Two brothers are being brought up by their Stepfather and Uncle, who are both wanted terrorists in hiding. Zahid, the oldest, is a strict Muslim, while his younger brother Javid has rejected Islam. There is turmoil between Javed and his stepfather, Hakeem, because of Javed’s lack of faith. Javed’s actions become a crisis at Mecca during the Hajj, and Javed, only fourteen years old, is severely punished. Hakeem, his stepfather, disowns him. His uncle Qamar, now living in Tehran, Iran, invites Javed to come and live with him. Javed becomes fascinated with women and pursues a prostitute. He can’t control his sexual behavior.
Both Javed and Zahid are educated in Iran and received their PhDs in Nuclear Physics. Javed is employed at CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research. There, he meets a woman, Arielle, who has the same uncontrollable sexual behavior as Javed and introduces him to drugs. Sex and drugs are the downfall of both. Javed, after being addicted and homeless, is saved by a cleric at a mosque in Paris, France. After recovery, Javed is recruited by the Iranian government to join his brother in an elaborate plan to destroy the ITER.
They are now poised to carry out the mission, but the consequences of their actions will have worldwide repercussions.
